RAWALPINDI: Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi Bench Justice Raja Shahid Mehmood Abbasi

Saturday said that the Judiciary has rendered great services for supremacy of law and dignity of the Constitution.

Addressing the flag hoisting ceremony held at LHC Rawalpindi Bench in connection with 75th Independence Day, he said that celebrations were being held with a renewed commitment to serve the country and take it to greater heights.

Earlier Justice Sohail Nasir, Justice (retd) Saeed Sheikh, President LHC bar Sardar Razaq and member Punjab Bar Council Bashrat Ullah Khan hoisted the flag.

A well-armed contingent of Punjab police saluted the flag while national songs were also played on the occasion.

A large number of lawyers were also present on the occasion.
