MULTAN:Provincial Parliamentary Secretary Muhammed Nadeem Qureshi said that the Green Punjab drive has kicked off under the program of ‘Khidmat Ap Ke Dehleez Per’.

Talking to journalists on Tuesday, he said tree plantation was being carried out across the province.

He said urban forest campaign was launched in all small and big towns of the province.

He appealed masses to cooperate with their administration in order to save their upcoming generations from critical environmental impacts.

He said when a large number of countries in the globe were facing hazards of environment, our region was not immune from it.

“We have to work diligently and promptly to get out of environmental threat”, he said.

He asked private institutions to work shoulder to shoulder with incumbent government to make the campaign successful.
