Health, education on PM’s top priority: Minister

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for National Health Services, Regulation and Coordination Aamir Mehmood Kiani Tuesday reiterated the commitment to follow Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision for upgrading the health facilities across the country.

Talking to state owned television, he stressed that the present government is taking concrete measures for improvement of health sector as previous governments did not pay any attention over it and left this sector in worse condition.

He said health and education are remained always on top priority of the prime minister.

Responding to a question, he said Imran Khan is striving hard to make the capital as a “health ‘s role model” for other provinces.

He said construction work is underway on four new hospitals, adding that general hospitals and nursing university would also be constructed in near future.
