NAVTTC, KPITB sign MoU for high tech training

ISLAMABAD:National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) agreed to enhance the cooperation in the field of high-tech training programs

by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU).

The agreement was signed by Secretary Department of Science & Technology and Information Technology KPK, Dr. Amber Ali Khan and Executive Director NAVTTC, Sajid Baloch in a ceremony held at Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training.

The skill development was the top agenda of government and we were focused to take special measures to mobilize our youth and provide them with a conducive learning environment so that they are in a better position to explore their abilities and skills.

The MoU between the two organizations covers wide array of high-tech training programs including cyber security, cloud computing, Internet of things, graphic designing etc. The agreement will play vital role in equipping the youth with demand driven high-end skills of today’s world as they offer entrepreneurial or digital facing opportunities.

The MoU will contribute significantly to overhaul the skill training system in Pakistan and to develop a highly-skilled, dynamic, and internationally competitive youth workforce as envisaged by the government.

This collaboration will also be fruitful in achieving the objectives of Prime Minister’s Hunarmand Pakistan (Skills for All) programme.

The MoU signing ceremony was witnessed by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Youth Affairs Muhammad Usman Dar, Provincial Minister for Science & Technology and IT, Atif Khan, Chairman NAVTTC, Syed Javed Hassan and Secretary for Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Farah Hamid Khan.
