Over one million saplings planted across the division

FAISALABAD: The divisional forest department has so far planted 1,099,000 saplings during the spring season under ‘Plant for Pakistan’ drive across Faisalabad division.

This was stated by Divisional Forest Officer Wajih-ud-Din while talking to reporter here on Friday. He said that the department had thus far planted 482,000 saplings against a set target of 620,000 in Faisalabad and Toba Tek Singh districts.

He said that 617,000 sapling had been planted in Jhang and Chiniot districts where a target of planting one million trees has been fixed by the department.

He urged people to actively take part in the plantation drive.
