PBM confers 200 education scholarships to deserving students of far flung areas

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) would confer education stipends to 200 deserving students of Malakand Division for pursuing their education as Managing Director Malik Zaheer Abbas signed MoUs (Memorandum of Understanding) with four major educational institutions of the area.

The agreements were signed with Saidu Medical College & University, Jahanzeb College, Boner University and University of Malakand, under which 50 deserving students of each Institution would be awarded scholarships by PBM annually, said a message received here.

Addressing the MoU signing ceremonies, Managing Director PBM said that giving rights to the deserving persons living in every corner of the country is among the top priority. Speaking to the students, Malik Zaheer Abbas advised them to be dedicated in seeking their education.

He advised them to spare some time for humanitarian services as well. He was of the view that Prime Minister of Pakistan is deeply concerned about the youth and wants them to be successful and dignified.

In the light of this vision, PBM is taking every possible step to keep the deserving students on their educational track.
