ISLAMABAD: Adviser to Prime Minister on Parliamentary Affairs Dr Babar Awan on Thursday informed the National Assembly that an amount of Rs6,105.00 million was allocated for Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) for the fiscal year 2020-21.
Replying to a question during the Question Hour, he informed the National Assembly that an amount of Rs3,824.997 million has been disbursed among poor people during the fiscal year 2020-21 under various schemes by PBM.
He said that an amount of Rs170.427 billion has been disbursed among poor people during the fiscal year 2020-21 under various programmes and schemes of BISP. He said that an amount of Rs25.839 billion has been disbursed among poor people during the fiscal year 2020-21 under various programmes/ schemes by Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF).
He said that fake beneficiaries were also removed from the BISP deserving list.
