Steps to be taken to improve power distribution system: CEO PESCO

PESHAWAR:Chief Executive PESCO Engineer Shabir Ahmad has said that important steps have been taken to improve power distribution system throughout the province.

He said this while presiding a meeting held at WAPDA House Peshawar, said a press release issued on Sunday.

General Manager Technical Dr. Amjal Khan, Project Director Construction Fowad Habib, Xens and SDOs construction attended the meeting. Engineer Shabir directed the construction staff to accelerate work on the ongoing developmental projects and no negligence will be accepted in this regard.

It is important to mention that several new Grid Stations have been constructed while several Grid Stations have been upgraded and new power transformers have been installed in different grid stations throughout the province.

Transmission lines have been installed to improve power distribution system he said.

Chief Executive said that provision of facilities to the customer is include in our first priority.

With the support of Federal Govt several news projects have been initiated to improve power distribution system including replacement of old cables and poles.
