MUZAFFARGARH:A woman sustained serious injuries when she tried to resist during armed robbery, police said on Thursday.
According to details, unidentified robbers broke into the house and looted cash, mobile phones including other valuables and fled.
Upon receiving the information, police reached the spot and shifted the injured woman to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Alipur from where she was referred to Nishtar Hospital Multan due to critical condition.
Brother in law of the victim named Siraj Ahmed said that his brother worked in Dubai and sister-in-law Nasreen Bibi and children were alone at home.
Alipur Police Station registered the case.
