Faisalabad: Police claimed to have arrested 236 drug dealers and seized a heavy quantity of narcotics including 38 kilograms of crystal meth (ice) and 174.691 kilograms of heroin during 2025.

A police spokesman said here on Saturday that on the directives of City Police Officer (CPO) Faisalabad, police launched a vigorous anti-narcotics campaign by targeting drug dens and trafficking networks operating in various parts of the district. Police apprehended 88 ice dealers and recovered 38 kg ice from their possession. Similarly, 148 individuals involved in heroin trafficking were also along with 174.691 kg heroin from 1st January 2025 up till now, he added.
