Lahore:A ceremony was held at the Central Police Office in honor of 55 newly promoted officers from sub-inspector to the rank of inspector, here on Monday.
According to spokesperson, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar along with senior officers presented the inspector ranks to the promoted officers.
Families of all officers including parents, children, and other family members of the newly promoted inspectors attended the ceremony.
The IGP and senior police officers congratulated the inspectors and their families. The promoted officers hailed from Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Bahawalpur, Gujranwala, and Gujrat.
The event was attended by Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry, DIG Establishment Suleman Sultan Rana, DIG Establishment-2, Captain (retd) Liaqat Ali Malik and AIG Development Sahibzada Bilal Umar among other senior officials.
