BISE Bahawalpur announced matric result, 75.49 percent passed


BAHAWALPUR: The annual results announcement and prize distribution ceremony for the matriculation exams of 2024 was held under the auspices of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Bahawalpur.

Commissioner Bahawalpur Division and Chairman Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Bahawalpur Nadir Chatha was the chief guest. He distributed cash prizes, medals, and certificates of appreciation among the top-performing students, while the overall first position holder student Ukasha Tariq was gifted a laptop.

Nadir Chatha congratulated the students, teachers, and parents who achieved notable positions and success. He mentioned that a budget of 12.5 million rupees has been allocated for scholarships for students who perform well in the board exams.

He encouraged the students to continue their educational journey with the same enthusiasm. Controller Examinations Asma Qasim revealed that 95,240 students appeared for the matric annual exams in 2024, with 71,892 students passing, resulting in a suc
cess rate of 75.49 percent.

The position holders’ names were announced, with Ukasha Tariq from Bahawalnagar securing the top position by scoring 1193 marks.

Meanwhile, student Manam Shahid from Government Girls Higher Secondary School Satellite Town Bahawalpur secured the second position with 1190 marks, and the third position was shared by Muhammad Waqar from Rahim Yar Khan and Ali Hyder from Khanpur, scoring 1187 marks each.
