137m released for health deptts of Gujranwala division

SIALKOT: The Punjab government has released special funds of Rs 137 million for the district health authorities in the Gujranwala division. According to officials of the health department, the provincial government has released Rs 34 million for Sialkot district, Rs 19 million for Narowal, Rs 25.6 million for Gujrat, Rs 19.7 million for Mandi Bahaud Din, Rs 10.2 million for Hafizabad and Rs 28.1 million for Gujranwala district.

The officials said the district health authorities will spend these special funds for paying electricity bills of hospitals, dispensaries, offices, employees salaries and for purchasing medicines, medical and other equipments as well.
