MIRPUR (AJK):As the countdown to Eid ul Fitr is to begin after few days, markets across Azad Jammu andKashmir, including the thickly-populated Mirpur district, wore a festive look by now as people started coming out in large numbers for Eid shopping.
Residents thronged the markets in major cities including the State’s metropolis Muzaffarabad, Mirpur, Kotli, Bhimbher, Rawalakot, Palandri, Bagh accompanying the families especially children to buy clothes, shoes, groceries and edibles.
Eid-ul-Fitr which marks the end of Holy month of Ramazan is most likely to be celebrated in AJK on June 5 subject to the sighting of Shawaal moon.
