PESHAWAR:Central President of Awami National Party (ANP), Asfandyar Wali Khan has suspended the membership of party leaders including Afrasiab Khattak and Bushra Gohar for their involvement in activities damaging the party’s interest.
According to a press statement issued here on Monday from Bacha Khan Markaz Peshawar, the decision has been taken over indulgence of both the leaders in activities believed to be causing discord among the workers and party’s ranks.
Central General Secretary of ANP, Mian Iftikhar Hussain also issued notification regarding suspension of party membership of Afrasaib and Bushra Gohar, adds the statement.
Earlier both ANP leaders submitted detail reply to the show cause notice served to them by central leadership.
The reply was considered as un-satisfactory and it was decided to suspend their membership from the party, the statement continued.
