Asghar Khan laid to rest in Nawanshehr, Abbottabad

ABBOTTABAD: Funeral prayers of former Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal ® Asghar Khan was offered at Frontier Force (FF) Regimental Center Abbottabad on Saturday.

Civil, military leaders and a large number of people from all walks of life attended the funeral prayer of Air Marshal ®Asghar Khan who later laid to rest in his native village Nawanshehr, Abbottabad .

Asghar Khan, who was the first and youngest Commander-in-Chief of Pakistan Air Force (PAF), passed away Friday morning after a protracted period of illness at CMH Rawalpindi. He was 96.

First funeral prayer of Asghar Khan was offered in Noor Khan Airbase Rawalpindi which was attended by civil and military leadership of the country.
