HARIPUR: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) put off on Wednesday the hearing of Mashal Khan lynching case here at
Central Jail Haripur (CJH) against 57 accused after recording the statements of six government officials who were witness in the case.
The officials have prepared the initial report into Mashal Khan lynching. Special ATC Judge Justice Fazal Subhan fixed September 27 for next hearing after recording the statements of six witnesses.
It is to mention here that ATC Judge Justice Fazal Subhan indicted 57 accused in Mashal Khan murder case while rejected bail pleas of 17 others. The Judge also ordered shifting of the murder trial at Central Jail Haripur (CJH) owing to security reasons.
Director prosecution Zaffar Abbass and two other lawyers represented the state.
