Rizvi, Principal Staff Officer of Chief Justice Shahid Shafi and representative of Asia Foundation Zeeshan Ali were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief justice said that revolutionary steps had been taken for provision of speedy justice by upgrading the legal procedure. Computerization and automation of court proceedings had helped in disposing off under trial cases in all courts of the province without any delay, he added.
CJ Mansoor Ali Shah was of the view that prime objective of judiciary was to mitigate the sufferings of litigants and a number of steps had been adopted to facilitate law officers as well as lawyers to streamline the legal process with the objective to clear the backlog of cases in judiciary.
The delegation members appreciated the efforts of the LHC Chief Justice and assured him of cooperation for supremacy of law and capacity building of all stakeholders to achieve the target of speedy justice.
