PESHAWAR:Deputy Commissioner Bannu Atta Ur Rehman Sunday held a meeting regarding setting up Sasta Bazar across District to provide much needed facilities to the people across District during the Holy month of Ramzan.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Bannu Kamran Khan, Assistant Commissioner Shozaib Abbas and all the concerned migistrates, representatives of the traders were also present on the occasion .
The meeting in detail discussed setting up Sasta Bazar points in all across Bannu District. It was decided to control the rates of edible commodities, the district administration would issued rates to the Tajar during the Sasta Bazar and all the magistrates have been directed to keep a vigilant eye on all those creating unwanted price hikes or selling edible commodities on their rates rather follow the instruction of the control rates issued by the District administration.
The magistrates would also check eye on artificial shortage of edible commodities and should take timely action against those violating the rates and involve in making artificial shortage. The officials of the food checking will also keep an eye on the selling of sub-standard items.
Deputy Commissioner Bannu on this occasion told the media that steps have been taken to ensure edible commodities on its proper rates and keep a check on over charging instead of following the govt rates. He said stern action would be taken against all violators in the district.
