PESHAWAR:Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) in partnership with Centre for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) is going to organize a high-level meeting on ‘Possible Economic Agenda for Elections 2018 in a local hotel on Friday (October 20).
SDPI is an independent think-tank that is serving as source of expertise for policy research and engagement for last 25 years. SDPI is closely working with the government functionaries and parliamentarians both federal and provincial levels on social and development issues.
Federal Minister for Interior, Ahsan Iqbal; former federal minister Syed Naveed Qamar and former federal secretary, Shamim Ahmad are among the members of the Board of Governors, which is chaired by the Ambassador Shafqat Kakakhel.
SDPI in partnership with Centre for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) had organized a number of consultative meetings with representations from policy and business community across Pakistan and as a result of this dialogue process, interventions by stakeholders were documented in a draft economic agenda aimed for use of political parties during the manifesto preparation phase.
