DPO directs action against outlaws, narco dealers under NAP

PESHAWAR:District Police Officer (DPO) Charsadda, Irfanullah Khan here on Wednesday directed police authorities to expedite crackdown against anti-social elements including outlaws, narcotics dealers and aerial firing under National Action Plan (NAP).

This directive was passed by him during a high-level meeting at police secretariat regarding implementation of national action plan. SP Investigation Nazir Khan, DSP City Basheer Khan, DSP Tangi Fazal Sher Khan, DSP Shabqadar Mohammad Riaz Khan and all SHOs of Charsadda attended it.

He said the NAP would be implemented in letter and spirit and directed police to expedite crackdown against narcotics dealers and outlaws besides accused involved in aerial firing.

The meeting deliberated on the NAP’s implementation plan besides measures being taken for improvement of law and order situation and actions so far taken against anti-social elements in the district.

The DPO directed field staff to expedite search and strike operations in their respective jurisdiction and submit report on daily basis in this regard.

He also ordered launching of special campaign against proclaimed offenders from March 12-31 and announced commendation certificates for police officers and jawans showed good performance in this regard.
