SARGODHA: The Anti Corruption Establishment (ACE) registered a case against four people including TMA Sargodha’s enforcement inspector for misusing of power, fraud, fabrication and causing loss to national exchequer.
ACE authorities said Tuesday that ACE Director Asim Raza came to know that owners of Allama Iqbal Town Sargodha Mohammad Iftikhar, Khaliq Dad and developer Mohammad Ahsan were illegally selling plots of housing society without getting NOC from Wapda authorities and depositing the conversion and other fees of the Punjab government in collusion with the Enforcement Inspector TMA Ghulam Jilani.
Authorities further said that the said owners had also illegally included 3 Kanal state lands worth Rs15 million into the housing society. On the inquiry report of Assistant Director ACE Mohammad Asghar, regional director Asim Raza ordered the registration of a case against the owners of society Khaliq Dad and Mohammad Iftikhar, developer Mohammad Ahsan and Enforcement Inspector Ghulam Jilani TMA. The ACE director assigned the further inquiry of the matter to 2-member investigation team comprising Tasawwar Abbas Bosal and Mohammad Asghar (Assistant Directors) for ascertaining the role of other people belonging to district council.
