KP CS directs DCs for computerization of revenue record

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Secretary, Mohammad Azam Khan Tuesday chaired a high-level meeting of all Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners (DCs) here at Civil Secretariat Peshawar.

The meeting discussed the overall activities of government in different sectors and decisions were

made to improve and speed up facilities provided by government functionaries to the public.

Various grievances and hardships faced by the masses were discussed thoroughly and the participants were directed to improve and accelerate the provision of public services in specified time period.

The Deputy Commissioners were directed to complete the computerization of revenue record within fifteen days, digitalization of revenue record laying in District record rooms in three months and dispose of all pending revenue cases in one week.

The issues of promotion, recruitment and inquiries of different government employees were also discussed in the meeting and the concerned officers were directed to dispose of all pending promotion cases and inquiries within one month and recruitment against the vacant posts should be processed in three months.

The Deputy Commissioners were also instructed to hold result oriented Khulli Kacharies periodically. They were also instructed to keep close liaison and coordination with all the departments and evolve a mechanism to monitor all the activities taking place in their respective districts.

The District Administrations were asked to establish one window operation services delivery facilities within ten days and initiate response and follow up mechanism for redressel of public grievances.

The Divisional Commissioners were asked to monitor and supervise all the government initiatives and provision of services to masses in their respective jurisdictions on behalf of the Chief Secretary.
