PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (KPPSC) and National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) Tuesday signed an agreement for introduction of online payment system.
Faridullah shah, Chairman KPPSC and Saeed Ahmed, president NBP signed the agreement here.
Addressing the signing ceremony, chairman KPPSC lauded support of NBP in making the online payment system of KPPSC functional, enabling the Commission to meet the challenges of 21st century.
He said the facility of digital payment system would not only reduce the chances of malpractices but also ensure speedy transactions and avoid unnecessary wastage of time and energy.
It will facilitate the candidates at their door steps during holidays to meet deadlines of the fee deposit before the closing date, he remarked.
He said that the digital transactions and online submission of applications would make the dealings crystal clear by minimizing the chances of malpractices and wrong doings.
NBP and the Branchless Agents like Easypaisa Jazz cash will make the system a success and more public friendly he hoped. He said that information would be made known to general public through advertisements in the print media.
President NBP Saeed Ahmed in his address highlighted salient feature of the online payment system. He said that the online payment system, apart from making the process of submission of application and depositing of money easier, would save time and end malpractices.
