Paramedics demands health allowance: threatens protest demonstrations

PESHAWAR:Provincial Paramedics Class IV Association Khyber Pakhtunkhwa threatened to hold a protest demonstration if their demand regarding provision of Health Professional Allowance was not met.

Addressing a meeting of Class IV employees, President Paramedical Association, Malik Mohammad Liaqat Awan lamented the claims of provincial government regarding bringing reforms in health sector and said that they are being deceived by KP health authorities relating to health allowance.

He said that if provincial government failed to release health allowance in ten days we would take to roads against the attitude of provincial government. He said that we would start a movement for our rights that will end the government of PTI in KP.

He said the association condemns the unjustified action of Lady Reading Hospital Administration that demolished the rooms of Class IV employees adding we courts have been moved court and soon we will get justice.

He said that every citizen has a right to raise voice for his demands and we would continue efforts to get our legal rights. Terming allowance a lawful demand, he said keeping in view concerns of paramedics it would be wise if the allowance was releases as soon possible.
