PFA bust a gang carrying intestines and bones for making cooking oil

RAWALPINDI:Director Punjab Food Authority, Bilal Abro said that Punjab Food Authority (PFA)is conducting successful raids

against the mafia who are playing with the lives of people by selling substandard food items in markets .

In a statement issue here on Sunday, Abro said, Punjab Food Authority held a suspected vehicle carrying intestines and waste of the animals to Hassanabdal for making substandard cooking oil and recovered 170 mand bones from their possession.

He informed that the accused were hailing from Rawalpindi, Attock, Taxila who were collecting bones from the other areas to run this illegal business. He said that provision of safe food to the people will be ensured at every cost.
