Prosperity, progress of far-flung areas top priority: minister

SARGODHA: Punjab Minister for Human Resources and Development Ansar Majeed Niazi Tuesday said that prosperity and progress of people living in far-flung areas was top priority of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.

Talking to the media here, he said the visit of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar to Khushab and Bhakhar districts would start a new series of development schemes in these areas.

He said the provincial government had increased the pace for completing welfare and development projects in the under-developed districts of the province.

The minister said the government would leave no stone unturned for removing a sense of deprivation among the downtrodden class and bringing prosperity to them.

He said under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the PTI government would continue struggle for bringing about a real change in economic and social sectors.

“The corrupt people would not be forgiven at any cost and in this regard the nation stands with the PTI government,” he added.
