Provision of Corona SOPs, controlled price commodities a priority: Nadeem Nasir

ABBOTTABAD:Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad Capt. (r) Nadeem Nasir Monday said that enforcement of Coronavirus SOPs, control of artificial price hikes and provision of essential commodities to the masses according to the price list is the top priority of the district administration.

DC Abbottabad expressed these views while chairing a meeting regarding review of implementation on Coronavirus SOPs issued by KP and National Coordination Control Center (NCOC) in the wake of the third wave of Coronavirus at his office.

He directed price control magistrates to ensure the enforcement of Coronavirus SOPs with the cooperation of the police department, prepare a special Eid traffic management plan to avoid any untoward situation.

Nadeem Nasir while directing local government said that through village secretaries aware mosques administrations and people about the threat of the COVID-19, on the eve of Eid police should cordon off all entry and exit points of the district, he said.

District Police Officer (DPO) Abbottabad briefed the meeting regarding the security plan during Eid ul Fitr, he also briefed about the performance of Abbottabad police and assured his departmental cooperation with district administration.

The representative of the Pak Army also briefed the meeting and assured his cooperation with the administration in case of any emergency.

DC Abbottabad while instructing the health department during lock down and ban on intercity transport said that collect COVID-19 samples from Railway station.

He ordered TMA Abbottabad, police department, health department Galyat Development Authority to coordinate and directed them to arrange screening and monitoring at all entry and exit points.

In the meeting DPO Abbottabad, ADC Abbottabad, Chief Executive Officer GDA, DC Relief, AC Abbottabad, TMOs, AD local government, DHO, rep Pak Army, DEOs male and Female were present.
