SUKKUR: The Road Safety Programmes started on the special directives of Inspector General (IG) and DIG National Highway and Motorways Police Sindh concluded on Thursday.
The SP Motorways Police Sukkur Ghulam Sarwar Bhayo praised and expressed gratitude towards participants who helped motorway police in spreading awareness of traffic rules through different programmes.
He appealed to wear helmet while riding two wheelers and use seat belts while driving and travelling in four wheeler and said that to penalize the riders and drivers without helmet and seat belts is to encourage them to use helmet and seat belt for their safety.
SSP educated the students on different aspects of road safety and sought a commitment from them that they would never cross speed limit and would never use mobile phone while driving a vehicle.
