Sacrifices of Mangla dam affectees always be remembered: Farooq

MIRPUR: Prime Minister of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Raja Mohammad Farooq Haider Khan Sunday said that shifting of Mangla Dam’s affectees and their immensely sacrifice to leave their homeland to resolve the energy crisis in Pakistan.

“Their sacrifices for enlightening Pakistan will always be remembered”, Farooq Haider expressed these views while addressing the gathering of Mangla Dam affectees and refugees of Jammu and Kashmir based in Khushab and various adjoining parts in Punjab province.

Senator Ghos Ali Shah Niazi, MNA Shakir Bashir Awan, President of PML-N Khushab Mohammad Nazir Inqalabi, Ghulam Mohammad Twana, Mohammad Younis, Administrator Municipal Corporation Mirpur Chaudhry Mohammad Malik were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Farooq Haider said that we had included the victims of Mangla dam in the list of affected refugees last year and constitution had been also amended in this regard, adding that next week, after meeting with Prime Minister of Pakistan, victims of Mangla Dam would be included in 25% quota for Pakistan-based refugees.

“There are 649 cases pending regarding ownership of land which will soon be addressed and Senior Member Board of Revenue will visit Lahore to resolve these cases before long. ” he added.

Terming the endeavours made by Punjab government for refugees, the Prime Minister expressed “I am grateful to Chief Minister Punjab Mian Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif that he gave 90 million rupees to the members of the legislative assembly AJK on refugee based seats in Pakistan besides commitment of the provision of employment. ’

Raja Mohammad Farooq Haider Khan said “The current non-confidence movement in Baluchistan assembly is an intriguing conspiracy aimed at delaying the Senate elections. ”

“We are more concerned with Kashmir situation, strong and stable Pakistan is the first subject of Kashmir cause as Pakistan is our lawyer to global community. ” Farooq Haider added.

“Today Mian Nawaz Sharif is fighting for the stability of Pakistan in 68th year of his age. He is struggling the same of age like Quaid e Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah was fighting for the formation of Pakistan” PM AJK reiterated.

He further said that whenever the PML-N made weak, Pakistan suffered unprofessional losses.

He added that Pakistan was the only state formed in the name of Islam, which had been established under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.
