MIRPUR: AJK: Masood Sacrifices of the Kashmiris will never go in vain: Masood Khan AJK President Masood Khan paid his utmost tribute to the martyrs of the Kashmir Freedom
Movement. “Their sacrifices will never go to waste and we will attain our freedom from the ruthless Indian occupation forces”, he said.
He has conveyed his deepest sympathies to the families of victims of the martyrs and members of the Armed Forces who have been killed by the Indian occupation forces across the Line of Control.
The President Masood expressed these views while talking to Syed Shaukat Ali Shah, AJK Minister for Food, who called on him at the President’s camp office on Monday.
Political matters and ongoing development initiatives in AJK were discussed in detail during the
meeting. The current situation with regard to human rights violations in Indian Occupied Kashmir was also discussed.
He said that after the martyrdom of Burhan Wani the freedom struggle of the people of Kashmir has gained a new momentum which will continue till the liberation of Kashmir form Indian subjugation.
“The people of Kashmir have been selflessly sacrificing their lives since 1947 in their struggle”, said the President. Even before the creation of Pakistan the leadership and the people of Kashmir had made a conscious decision to join Pakistan and till this date they stand by their commitment.
He assured that the people and government of Pakistan will continue to extend their moral and diplomatic support to the Kashmir cause. ‘Pakistan’s commitment to the Kashmir cause has helped to keep this matter alive at the international front even after 70 years and Pakistan will continue to project the aspirations of the Kashmiri people until they attain their right to self-determination”, he added.
