LARKANA: Security has been beefed up in District Larkana to avert any untoward incident especially on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha here on Monday.
SSP Larkana Engineer Nisar Ahmed Channa has taken strict security measures in the district.
Patrolling has been intensified and police personnel have been deployed at entry and exit points of the towns and cities, main chowks, roads, markets, bazaars, shopping centres, sensitive areas to avert any untoward incident.
Besides, report said that SSP district Kamber-Shahdadkot at Kamber has also made strict security arrangements in the district and deployed policemen at sensitive areas of the District, town and chowks and entry and exit points of the cities.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Larkana Engineer Nisar Ahmed Channa Sunday evening visited the city’s bazaars and markets to review the security arrangements ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.
He expressed satisfaction over the arrangements and directed the police to ensure safety to the people in the city’s bazaars and markets.
President LCCI Khair Mohammad Shaikh, Members of Executive Committee of Chamber of Commerce and Industry Larkana (CCIL) Shamshad Ali Shaikh, Mohammad Azam Shaikh, Trade Federation Larkana’s Tariq Nazir Shaikh, ASP Larkana city, and others were also present on the occasion.
