Swift implementation of Industrial uplift plan begins in AJK: Noreen Asif

MIRPUR: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Minister for Industry and Social Welfare, Mrs. Noreen Arif has said that since swift implementation of industrial development plan has been kicked off in AJK, all the projects will be seen on the ground and will not be confined to paperwork as the previous regimes.

She expressed these views while addressing the inauguration ceremonies of different union council projects in Heer Kotli on Sunday.

Noreen Arif directed the local government officials to ensure the transparency in projects. “Any kind of negligence will not be tolerated; strict action will be taken on any substandard work done in any project,” he added.

Mrs. Noreen Arif said that government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir as per vision of Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan is looking forward to implement the development process practically.

She made the assertions that development of micro-infrastructure was badly ignored and exploited by the past government, but we have started a special construction and development program.

“Now development plans will be completed in timely and transparent manner”, Mrs. Noreen added.

She emphasized that the people themselves should monitor these projects and report to any negligence by concerned department. She ensured the provision of basic facilities to each village of her constituency.

Inaugural ceremonies were presided by the party President of her constituency (Kutla) Raja Imtiaz Khan, large number of public representatives were also present on the occasion.
