UK’s NGO to install Water Filtration Plants

MIRPUR: A United-kingdom based international NGO Muslim Hands will install Water Filtration Plants in various localities of Mirpur city with the assistance of the Municipal Corporation.

According to the city administration Khawaja Sajid Mahmood said on the eve of ceremony of signing of Memorandum of Understanding between the city Municipality and the Muslim Hands Organization here on Thursday.

He said that the advent of the mass welfare project is aimed at to ensure the required supply of hygienic water to the inmates of Mirpur city.

The Muslim Hands will installed the water filtration plants along the major city roads and the streets in various housing sectors in the city under a phased programme.

The city administration assured full cooperation and facilitate to the NGO on behalf of the Municipality by providing required sites for the installation of the water filtration plants for providing uninterrupted bulk supply of clean water to the citizens.
