FAISALABAD: Provincial Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah Khan on Wednesday said that water filtration plants would be installed in all union councils of PP-70 constituency.
Installation of filtration plants in three union councils – UC-103 Nisar Colony, UC-106 Raja Park and UC-118 Firdous Colony – had been started under first phase, he added.
He said this in a meeting with chairmen and vice-chairmen of the constituency, here.
The minister said that basic facilities including education, health, communication etc. had been provided to people at their door steps. Now water filtration plants would be installed in all union councils of the constituency for ensuring clean drinking water to people, he said and added huge funds would be spent on this project.
Rana Sanaullah said that cost of a water filtration plant was 4.4 million and this project of public need would be completed with fast pace.
Chairmen Arshad Siddiqui, Dr Ilyas, Mian Suhail Tariq Manj, Vice-Chairmen Akram Ansari, Rana Muzafar, Malik Anwar, and others were present in the meeting.
