QUETTA:Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade (BBoIT), Farman Zarkoon on Monday said that Balochistan was an ideal place for investment.
In statement issued here, he said that they were working to provide facilities to investors by removing barriers, facilitating business start-up, providing a safe environment, pre-project planning, ease of doing business, and providing incentives to the investors.
There were many opportunities in different sectors of Balochistan such as the construction sector, agriculture, minerals, and mineral resources, tourism, energy, livestock, and other sectors that attract investors, he maintained.
He further said that facilities were being provided to investors and the business community through the BBoIT’S offices in Islamabad and Karachi after the approval of the Balochistan Investment Policy, adding that a new era of investment would begin in the province and obstacles would be removed.
Farman said the government was trying to create the investment opportunities in Balochistan.
He said that Chief Minister Jam Kamal under Khan’s leadership had taken several historic steps to promote investment, adding the investment policy was also a link in the chain that would be important for the development and prosperity of the province and boost trade and economic activities.
