FESCO issues shutdown programme

FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has issued shutdown programme for Saturday for necessary repair, maintenance and expansion of electricity lines.

According to the programme, power supply from Jubilee, Amin Town, Abdullahpur, Rafhan, Farooq Abad, Yasrab and Fateh Abad and Pepsi feeders emanating from 132-KV Old Thermal grid station, Mobilink, Canal Road and Koh-e-Noor City feeders emanating from 66-KV Old Thermal grid station, will remain suspended from 9: 30 a.m. to 2: 30 p.m. while Barnala, Sultan Nagar, Jhumra City and Parco feeders originating from 132-KV Chak Jhumra grid station, new Jinnah Colony, Gulshan Colony, State Bank, City Agri University, Iqbal Stadium and Cardiology-II feeders emanating from 132-KV University grid station, D-Ground feeder originating from 220-KV Jaranwala Road grid station will observe shutdown from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday (February 27).

Similarly, electricity supply from Khayaban-e-Green feeder emanating from 132-KV Khannuana grid station and Jail Road feeder originating from 220-KV Jaranwala Road grid station will remain suspended from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. whereas all feeders emanating from 132-KV Jhang City, Jhang-II, Khewa, Nia Lahore grid stations except from Ujala and Sugar Mills feeders will observe 20-30 megawatt load shedding from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on February 27, 2021.
