FAISALABAD: A Kashmir solidarity rally was held at Dijkot to express solidarity with Kashmiri brethren on Friday.
Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab Malik Umar Farooq led the rally while AC Saddar Umar Maqbool and a large number of people from different walks of life participated in it.
The participants were carrying banners, posters and placards inscribed with different slogans in favour of Kashmiri people.
Addressing the rally, Malik Umar said that Kashmir was an integral part of Pakistan, and Pakistani nation stood with their Kashmiri brethren in their struggle of self-determination.
He said that Pakistan would continue political, diplomatic and moral support to the people of Indian Illegal Occupied Kashmir.
He said Kashmiri people were fighting the war for the last seven decades and they had rendered a lot of sacrifices in this struggle.
He said that the right of self-determination should be given to the people of India Illegal Occupied Kashmir according to their wish. He also paid salute to the sacrifices of the Kashmiri martyrs.
