HYDERABAD: The management of Sindh Agriculture University will take over the technical management of Bhai Dialdas Moolchand Park Hussainabad under tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed with Hyderabad Municipal Corporation and District Administration Hyderabad.
The MoU was signed by Registrar Sindh Agriculture University Ghulam Mohyeddin Qureshi, Administrator Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Safdar Ali Bughio and Additional Deputy Commissioner-I Hyderabad Tabraiz Sadiq Mari here at varsity’s senate hall on Friday. The Vice Chancellor Dr. Fateh Mari and Commissioner Hyderabad Muhammad Abbas Baloch were also present on the occasion.
According to MoU, Sindh Agriculture University will make technical and collaborative relationship for park management of Bhai Dialdas Moolchand Park Hussainabad Park.
It was decided that a joint strategy will be worked out for the management of Park, fresh and clean environment for visiting people and technical and mutual cooperation for the management of Bhai Dialdas Mulchand Park Hussainabad. Besides, recreational environment in the park will be provided along with the welfare of animals and birds.
As per MoU, an internship programme will also be launched for university graduates and experts so that they could be able to carry out research on fresh water, flowers, trees, plants, animals, soil and horticulture. The training programmes for scholars, popular lectures, presentations as well as extension programmes will also be conducted under MoU.
On the occasion, focal persons have been nominated who included the Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Fawad Ghaffar Soomro from district administration, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ismail Kumbhar from Sindh Agriculture University and Shafiq Ahmed Shah from Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
Addressing to MoU signing ceremony, the Commissioner Muhammad Abbass Baloch said that the district administration has been engaged in completion of various projects for beautification of Hyderabad city.
The district administration is initiating innovative methods to provide a healthy environment to the citizens, he added.
VC Fateh Marri said the varsity was working on various projects through modern technology and research. He said that training will be imparted on commercial basis with marketing opportunities adding that priority was being given to research on modern agriculture technology for bringing more improvement in agriculture sector.
