Govt not to allow anyone to disrupt peace in GB: Minister

GILGIT: Provincial Minister for Education, Mohammad Ibrahim Sani here on Thursday said Gilgit Baltistan was a peaceful province and nobody would be allowed to disrupt peace in the province.

Talking to media persons here, the Minister said recovery of motor shells from Skardu Katalgah and explosion in scrape shop was a matter of concern and demanded its formal investigation.

He said enemy of peace wanted to create fear and harassment for accomplishment of their nefarious designs, however, all such designs would be frustrated with power of people and security forces.

The Minister said anti peace elements were unnerved with massive development works in Gilgit Baltistan.

He said no compromise would be made on peace and development and warned that the government would deal miscreants with iron hands. He said all obstacles in the way of development and peace would be removed.
