ASTORE: The Provincial Government has supplied sufficient medicines stock to all the dispensaries in Astore district to help needy patients in process of their treatment.
District Health Officer Astore,Mumtaz Khan disclosed this during his visit to Cheelum A Class Dispensary where he inspected medicine stock and others arrangements made by the health
department for treatment of poor and needy patients.Dr Mumtaz also visited Gudai Basic Health Unit (BHU) and met people and patients there. He expressed satisfaction over attendance
of the staff who were present for duty and appreciated their efforts for providing treatment to people at far flung areas.
He said all available resources would be utilized to facilitate patients. The confidence of people on public sector hospitals were restored due to significant reforms taken by the PML(N) Government in GB, he said.
“There is no shortage of medicines in dispensaries and enough medicines were supplied to all the dispensaries of Astore,” he maintained.
Dr Mumtaz instructed the medical staff and laboratory technicians to serve patients with best of their abilities and skills.“Our profession demands to serve ailing people without any favoritism and like and dislike.” He said strict action would be taken against officials found negligence of duties.
