IHC clubs plea with identical cases against PECA Ordinance
ISLAMABAD:The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday clubbed the petition challenging the PECA (amendment) Ordinance 2022 with other identical cases for hearing together.
Chief Justice Athar Minallah, hearing the case filed by the President Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHBA), remarked that the petitioner had raised two other important points in the plea.

The chief justice remarked that the law was imposed here only against the critics.
The court observed that the defamation law already existed other than the PECA.
