12 outlaws held; stolen bikes and vehicle recovered

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested 12 outlaws from various of the city and recovered stolen vehicle, two bikes, narcotics and weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said.

He said that Sub-Inspector Mohammad Farooq from Koral police station arrested Zahid and recovered stolen ike (RIM-2583) from him. ASI Iftikhar Ali from Khana police arrested Azhar Shehzad and recovered another stolen bike (RIO-2953) from him while ASI Amjad Salim nabbed Latif and Sharif for having one 30 bore pistol each.

ASI Mohammad Siddique from Anti-Car Lifting Cell of Islamabad police recovered a Suzuki pick up (SGN-992) which was found snatched from Rawla Kot. Sub-Inspector Ashfaq Ahmed from Sihala police arrested Abdul Ghaffar and recovered 1500 gram hashish from him while a female Iqbal begum was held by Noon police for having 1.20 kilgoram heroin.

Sub-Inspector Faiz Ahmed from Aabapra police arrested Fahad Yusuf for having 120 gram hashish while Women police arrested a female thief Yasmeen Bibi. ASI Ghulam Murtaz from Shalimar police arrested 30 bore pistol from an accused Wahid Malik while Sub-Inspector Asif Hussain arrested Zahid Shah and Riaz for having one 32 bore revolver each. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.

SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials for effective policing measures in the city.
