19 outlaws held; narcotics and weapons recovered

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested 19 outlaws from various localities of the city and recovered narcotics, stolen bike and weapons from their possession, said a police spokesman here Thursday.

According to details, Shams colony police arrested two accused Haroon and Sheeraz and recovered one kilogram hashish from their possession. Khanna police arrested Hassan and recovered stolen bike from him. Anti-Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) of Islamabad police recovered a tampered car from an accused Qasid.

Margalla police arrested Sadaat Arfat and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him. Golra police arrested Asmat, who was wanted to police in a criminal case while Tarnol police recovered one 30 bore pistol from Saeed.

Industrial-Area police arrested Aamir and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him while Tauqeer Masih and Irfan Masih were held besides recovery of a total of 55 liter wine from them. Sabzi Mandi police arrested three accused wanted in a criminal case while Noon police arrested Amir involved in selling petroleum products illegally.

Nilor police recovered one 30 bore pistol from Anjum Shahzad. Sihala police arrested Akber for having 30 bore while two other persons Naeem and Nadeem were held for selling petroleum products illegally. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.
