60 percent ICT rural areas gave access to potable water

ISLAMABAD: About 60 percent population of rural areas of Islamabad Cappital Territory has access to potable water, provided through government-funded water supply schemes.

Currently six water supply schemes have been implemented in six Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) villages with a total cost of about Rs.143.00 million, official sources told reporter on Saturday.

Whereas 20 water supply schemes for rural areas of ICT are under process during the fiscal year 2016-17.
