ISLAMABAD: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) on Wednesday declared final result of MSc (Television Production).
It has been placed at the University’s official website and the same were also communicated to the students on their postal address.
This was first passed-out batch of the TV production, since it was launched in 2015 on special instructions of the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Siddiqui by the Department of Mass Communication.
The program was the first-ever of its nature offered by any public sector university in the country. It was conducted face-to-face mode here at the main campus for the students of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
Theoretical and practical components of the program were taught by the highly qualified university’s teachers and media practitioners.
The program was tailored according to the needs and the requirements of the modern day era.
The University has made necessary arrangements, studio and its equipment for the practical training of students.
Initially, a class of up to 40 students was enrolled and classes were held in the evening timings. The enrolled students were enriched themselves with the practical knowledge of the latest media technologies of television production.
It was announced that the gradually that the program will be extended to the whole of the county.
The department, as per the special instruction of the Vice Chancellor had introduced another program M.Phil Mass Communication (professional track) to help the working journalists to upgrade their academic status.
Meanwhile, according to the Controller Exams, results of M.SC (Mass Communication) would be declared within couple of days.
Meanwhile, the University has expedited results’ announcement process and issuing of provisional results cards to the students facilitating them to take admission in next programs. The last date for the admissions is Oct. 10.
