All required facilities provided to Pilgrims: Sardar Yousuf

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, and Inter-faith Harmony, Sardar Mohammad Yousuf has said the present government had provided the best facilities to the pilgrims.

All required facilities including fresh food, transport and accommodation had been provided to the people who left for Saudi Arabia for performing Hajj this year, he said while talking to a news channel.

The Hajj operation would be completed till October 5, he said.

To a question, he said the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz government after coming into power had made best efforts for the people who performed Hajj during the period of 2013-17.

To another question he said the Hajj quota for Pakistani people would be increased from next year.

Giving message for Muharram ul Harram, he said the people belonging to any segment of society should promote harmony, tolerance and brotherhood in respect of the sacred month.

“We have established “Ulema-Mashaikh Council” representing the members from all religious sect, for promoting harmony and tolerance among the people, “ he said.

Replying to another question, Sardar M Yousuf said that anti-state elements were hatching conspiracy against our Madaris (Religious schools).

He said the role of Madaris in our society was very positive.
