ISLAMABAD: The visiting Bahrainian parliamentary delegation Saturday left home after completing three day visit to Pakistan on the invitation of Chairman Senate.
The delegation comprising members from Majlis-e-Shura and Majlis-e-Nawab was headed by Chairman Shura Council, Kingdom of Bahrain Ali Bin Saleh Al Saleh.
The delegation participated in different forums of Asian Parliamentary Assembly hosted by Senate of Pakistan.
Deputy Chairman Senate Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, Convener Pakistan – Bahrain Friendship Group in the Senate, Senator-in-Waiting Senator Hafiz Hamdullah and senior officers of the Senate Secretariat bode farewell to the delegation.
The visit was aimed at enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries as well as promoting Parliamentary linkages between the Senate of Pakistan and Shura Council of Bahrain.
During the three day visit the delegation met with the President, Prime Minister, Chairman Senate, Speaker National Assembly and discuss matters of bilateral interests.
The delegation was given album of their visit to Pakistan. Ali Saleh Al Saleh thanked Senate secretariat for unmatchable hospitality.
