ISLAMABAD: Balochistan government is spending a huge amount for uplift of education sector and enhancing literacy rate in the province.
Sources of provincial education department told Radio Pakistan that for this purpose, one hundred eighty Middle Schools are being up-graded to the level of High schools.
The project would be completed at a cost of rupees one billion.
Another project of construction of two hundred Elementary Colleges of Education is being executed in the province at a cost of rupees four hundred and twenty million.
Similarly, a Model Girls High School is being constructed in Lower Karez area of Quetta city at a cost of Rs.130 million.
