ISLAMABAD: The Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML) has expressed deep concern over the deteriorating health of illegally detained party Chairman, Masarrat Aalam Butt, at Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu.
The JKML in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Masarrat Aalam Butt was suffering from several ailments and needed medical check-up on weekly basis as per doctors’ advice, reported.
It said that since his shifting to Jammu Jail, the health of Masarrat Aalam Butt had further deteriorated due to non-provision of medical care.
The statement condemned the callous attitude of the puppet authorities towards the JKML Chairman and said that it could prove disastrous for his life.
Meanwhile, concern was also raised over the ailing health of illegally detained APHC leader, Ghulam Mohammad Khan Sopori. The ailing Khan Sopori is lodged at Saddar Police Station in Sopore for the past several months.
